CIDADE DE MARICÁ

The main refurbishment project for CDM involves converting a 300,000-ton double-hull oil tanker into an FPSO. Specific engineering tasks include: replacing 18,000 tons of steel plates, painting 160,000 square meters, replacing 175,000 meters of various pipelines, laying 900 kilometers of cables, lifting and connecting 11 modules, and constructing a new living area for 140 people. On March 31, 2015, the CDM Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) conversion project was successfully delivered in Chengxi. This project represents the most advanced third-generation FPSO in the world, and is the largest, most complex, and highest-difficulty FPSO conversion project in the world's FPSO conversion history. The completed CDM vessel can process 150,000 barrels of crude oil per day and 5 million cubic feet of natural gas per day, with a storage capacity of 2.09 million barrels of crude oil.
